It looks like an etch a sketch but it does a lot more!
Nabi 2 is a seven-inch “just for kids” tablet. It runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, has 1 GB RAM, a 2 MP camera, and is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled. It comes with a “drop safe” bumper, and is preloaded with 25 free games, 50 free songs, and 30 free books.
The Nabi does all the things you expect from a tablet but much more with one of the best help desks around

Nabi say ideal age 7-10 but we think our kids are really smart so I would place it at 4-9 years!
The Mammy Mode with App Zone 2.0
With over 500, mom-selected, kid-approved apps, App Zone 2.0 is the only curated App store made just for kids. App Zone 2.0 isn’t just a website link to an aggregator of apps, it is a tried, tested and approved grouping of apps hand picked by our community of moms and dads. Search by Create, Entertain, Learn, Play and Read categories and rely on our parental guidance filters to know it’s the right app for your kids!
More apps and games can be bought through the App Zone store, which has a fairly limited choice. It’s relatively easy to add Amazon’s Appstore, but not Google Play.
Only in parent mode can you download or purchase anything!
The nabi 2 uses Maxthon web browser. This provides a white-list of websites kids can visit, to which you can add sites when you enter the parent’s password. This means you’re in full control over the content your children get to see online.
The browser is reasonably quick, and can handle Flash-based websites and videos, but bear in mind that many Flash games require a keyboard, so can’t be used since the on-screen keyboard would use up most of the screen.
It’s not without its faults, but the nabi 2 is currently one of the best kids’ tablet around and it does allow you to use the full Android interface, albeit without access to the Google Play store or Google apps. Nabi2 is available both NUsed €139 with 12 month warranty in original packaging and new at €179
